Step 1: Measure Your Space

Before you begin, accurately measure the width and height of the space where you'll be installing the wardrobe doors. Take precise measurements at multiple points to account for any irregularities in the wall or floor. This will ensure that your doors fit perfectly once installed.

Step 2: Designing Your Doors

Select sliding wardrobe doors that fit your measurements and match the style of your space. Consider factors such as material, color, and design to ensure the doors complement your existing decor. Another factor to take into account is how many doors will you choose to fill your opening space, if you use our online door builder, you will see when you enter your opening width that there is a pre-selected number of doors for your specific size, this can be amended if you'd like a bespoke design.

Step 3: Prepare the Area

Once you have placed your order and our team has delivered your doors you need to clear the space where you'll be installing the doors, removing any furniture or obstacles in the way. Clean the area thoroughly to ensure a smooth and level surface for installation. If necessary, patch any holes or imperfections in the wall. If you are fitting internal storage make sure this is completed before fitting sliding doors to make life easier.

Step 4: Install the Tracks

Begin by installing the top and bottom tracks for the sliding doors, you must fit the top track first by screwing it into the top of your opening space, it is crucial that the top track is flush with your front and side facings. Next you need to fit your bottom track, this needs to be fitted 30mm from the front of your opening space- best method is to use a tape measure to mark 30mm and use a level to ensure the tracks are straight and properly aligned.

Step 5: Fit your Doors

Carefully lift your doors into place, inserting them into the top track first and then lowering them onto the bottom track. Once in place you need to push down on the 'flag' (the blue component on the image) this will lock your door into the bottom track. Make sure the doors slide smoothly within the tracks without any obstructions. Adjust the alignment if necessary to ensure a perfect fit.

Step 6: Finishing Touches

Clean any fingerprints or smudges from the doors and tracks to keep them looking their best. Add any finishing touches such as decorative trim or molding to complete the look.
